Ten-year-old Rio Sulley of Brimsdown Junior School was celebrating this week after scooping a gold medal at the British Synchronised Ice Skating Championships at the Lee Valley Ice Centre on Sunday.
Rio, who attends Brimsdown Junior School, was part of the ice centre's Lightening team that earned the right to call itself Britain's best.
Despite having only 14 team members two short of every other team in the competition Valley managed to beat off the competition.
