A SHOP in Little Oxhey Lane was targeted by thieves who took mobile phone top-up cards.
Two men in their mid twenties were in Little Oxhey News at about 10.15am on Wednesday, January 22.
They asked for top-up cards and were each given a £25 card. They said they were going on holiday and needed another £30 each.
One of them held up a switch card and asked if he could use it. The shop assistant replied no, and the men said they had cash in their van.
Both made off with the top-up cards, worth a total of £110, and did not return to pay.
One man is described as tall and was wearing a grey top. The other was shorter and of thin build, with blond hair parted in the centre. He was dressed in black.
