Valentine's night has brought Halloween back to Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, with Love and Rockets. This is an evening of short films and live music that will make this February 14 a night to remember.

The Croydon Guardian have teamed up with Croydon Clocktower and have four pairs of tickets to give away, and a bottle of bubbly to go with the first prize pair of tickets.

Enjoy the events that start at 7.30pm. Live entertainment includes Saloon, an outfit that mix folk rock and analogue electronics. They will be creating a new soundtrack to classic 1962 sci-fi film La Jetee, by Chris Marker, which was the inspiration for The Terminator and Twelve Monkeys.

Music on the night includes Bristol based musician Ralf Cumbers, who goes by the name of RLF, and Tasmanian born DJ Lektrogirls.

The short films will include Inferno by Paul Kousoulides; a stunning mix of live action and computer animation.

Ex-Carry On star Leslie Philips narrates Arthur's Amazing Things, a comedy film about a young clerk trying to get the attention of the office secretary by the power of his bizarre inventions.

All you have to do to win a pair of tickets is answer the question and send your entry on a postcard to: Love and Rockets Competition, Croydon Guardian, Ekman Cleave House, 854 Brighton Road, Purley, CR8 2UX. Please include your name, address and daytime telephone number. Closing date is Friday, February 7, 2003. The usual Guardian competition rules apply.
