Police are searching for a man who followed an 11-year-old into her home and indecently assaulted her at knifepoint.
An e-fit of the man who subjected the schoolgirl to an "horrific" assault in her Peckham home, has been released by police.
Police last night released details of the attack which took place at 4.30pm on December 20.
The girl was unaware the man had followed her through the front door of her Dog Kennel Hill home.
Once inside, he forced the 11-year-old into a bedroom and held a knife to her face before indecently assaulting her.
It is thought the attackers was startled by something and told the girl to count to ten before fleeing out through the front door.
Detective Sergeant Neil Waring said he hoped the e-fit would bring witnesses forward before the man struck again.
"This was an horrific ordeal for the 11-year-old victim. This man only left his victim's home because he was startled by something. My concern is what he would have done had he not been interrupted."
