Belgrave Harriers men and women were in action in the South of England Cross Country Championships in the West Country last Saturday.
The men were led home by Hassan Raidi, who closely trailed the leading group for the first third of the race, but fell away to finish 15th.
It was still Belgrave's best placing since Paul Freary finished sixth in 2000.
Will Cockerell came 42nd, Knut Hegvold 70th and Warren Lynch 126th, meaning Belgrave finished 10th of the 55 teams.
Tilly Heaton finished 50th in the women's 8km race with Angela Walker 97th and Louise Cooper 102nd. Tania Sturton had to pull out on the second lap because of asthma.
