Old Rutlishians produced a workmanline performance to beat Old Caterhamians 20-3 on Saturday, writes Bill Griffin.
After soaking up early pressure, a well-worked try saw winger Darren Ramen score Ruts' first try in the corner.
The visitors reduced the
deficit with a penalty, but a try by centre Gary Forge saw Ruts lead 10-3 at the break.
Ruts maintained their superiority after the break, Ali Keep kicking a penalty.
Andy Edser scored a try, converted by Keep, as Ruts ran out worthy winners. They are at home to Law Society on Saturday.
