Thameslink has appointed a new managing director as part of a number of senior management changes by the companies operator, Go-Ahead PLC.
Mr Mark Causebrook, the former director and general manager at Thameslink, moves to the new position of managing director.
He said his aims for the role are to try to improve train reliability performances and continue the ongoing safety operations on Thameslink trains.
He added: "It's going to be a challenging role, but one I am greatly looking forward to. The aim is to make Thameslink as efficient and reliable as possible."
