THERE were no signs of an FA Cup hangover at Victoria Road on Tuesday night, in fact this was one almighty hair of the dog as the Daggers ran riot at the expense of a baffled Barnet, writes Jackie Bass.

The goalfest began just eight minutes in as Steve West flicked the ball on for the on-rushing Junior McDougald, who struck from inside the area to give the Daggers the lead.

Danny Shipp was the next to strike 38 minutes in as his free kick piledrived his way through the Barnet wall from 25 yards out.

Two minutes before half time and the Daggers stretched their lead again as Paul Terry's free kick came back off the far post and fell kindly for Steve West who fired home.

Garry Hill's fourth striker then grabbed the fourth as the spoils were shared between the front men, Mark Stein rounding Naisbitt and tucking the ball away.

With Tony Roberts taken off to nurse an injury, Paul Gothard was left to concede Barnet's only goal of the game to Junior Agogo.

But the lead was extended once more as Stein grabbed his second, shooting on the turn from a John McGrath cross.

DAGGERS: Roberts (sub: Gothard 60), Cole, Vickers, Smith, Terry (Hill 65), Shipp, Stein, Junior, West (Heffer 60), Matthews, McGrath
