Police are investigating an incident in which a student at a Putney school was allegedly threatened with a gun.
The 15-year-old pupil of Elliot School was with three friends in Pullborough Gardens on the Roehampton Estate at around 1pm on Monday when he was confronted by a man.
The man, aged around 20, told the boy he was armed with a gun and demanded the boy hand over his personal belongings.
The terrified boy handed over his possessions and his assailant ran off.
Headteacher of Elliot School Tony Willis confirmed: "There was an incident involving one of our pupils. The matter is now in the hands of the police who are investigating the incident."
