Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake has praised the RAC for introducing its Grass Routes safety campaign for secondary school pupils.
The campaign aims to make children more aware of ways to travel, such as advising them to avoid dangerous roads, and has the backing of the Department for Transport and education ministers.
Mr Brake said: "I hope all schools in the area sign up to Grass Routes."
