Members of the borough's religious community joined guests including Sutton's Mayor Councillor John Dodwell to mark the Holocaust Memorial Day last week.
The multi-faith service was held at Wentworth Hall, which is home to the Muslim Community Centre, the day before it was recognised nationally.
The service has been held in Sutton for the last three years.
