Lambeth Council has established a race scrutiny commission to assess what action it should take to combat racial discrimination both in employment practices and services delivery.
Knight's Hill Councillor Robert McConnell is chairman of the commission, which also includes Ferndale Councillor Imran Hussain and Coldharbour Councillor Sharon Ward. The commission will consult staff, service users, voluntary groups and stakeholders.
