Lambeth and Southwark night travellers could find police on London's night buses if a GLA proposal goes ahead.
Labour assembly member Jennette Arnold, who is leading Labour's campaign for safer travel for women, called for police officers on the buses at a meeting of the GLA transport committee. Peter Hendy, from Transport for London, said he would look at expanding the transport policing initiative.
