Coach and bus services will replace the Piccadilly line services to Heathrow Airport over the weekends of March 8th and 9th and 15th and 16th.

This is due to essential track replacement work.

Services will be suspended between Northfields and Heathrow throughout these dates.

Operation is as follows:

Bus service A: between Northfields and Heathrow Central bus station, calling at Boston Manor, Osterley, Hounslow East, Hounslow Central, Hounslow West and Hatton Cross.

Coach service B: Express service from Acton Town to Heathrow Terminal 1,2,3 Underground station.

Coach service C: From Acton Town to Heathrow Terminal 4 Underground station, calling at Hatton Cross.

Customers using coach services B and C should allow at least an extra 30 minutes to complete their journeys and those using bus service A should allow at least an extra 60 minutes.

Porters and additional staff will be available to help and direct customers.

Rail works

Railtrack is carrying out track maintenance between Twickenham/Hounslow and Feltham until 4pm on Sunday February 2nd.

As a result of engineering works the line between Twickenham and Feltham will be closed until 2.40pm.

Services between London Waterloo and Reading that normally operate between Twickenham and Feltham will be diverted via an alternative route and will not call at stations between Clapham Junction and Virginia Water.

These services will call additionally at Weybridge, Addlestone and Chertsey.

Services between Waterloo and Weybridge via Hounslow will only operate between Waterloo and Hounslow.

Services between Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside will operate Waterloo to Twickenham.

A special train service will operate Feltham to Windsor via Staines.

Special bus services will operate: Hounslow to Feltham; Twickenham to Feltham calling at Whitton; Twickenham to Virginia Water calling at Whitton, Feltham, Ashford, Staines, Egham and Virginia Water.

Railtrack is carrying out track maintenance between Woking and Farncombe and between Guildford and Aldershot on Saturday and Sunday, February 1st and 2nd. Changes affect Surbiton.

As bus travel takes longer than the normal train service, the timetable will be revised. Passengers travelling to or from stations on the affected routes should check the times with National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950.

Transport for London

A3/A243 Kingston Hook Roundabout Temporary lane restriction while lifting apparatus onto central island by Thames Water fitting valve on main in middle of the roundabout. Slight disruption envisaged. 9am-4pm until February 1st.

M25 update

Users of the M25 can get a new year update about future road improvements and maintenance work from a new leaflet.

Surbiton. Crane Operation. On Sunday January 26th, between 6am and 4pm in Victoria Road, Surbiton, Beck and Pollitzer will be lifting air conditioning units onto the roof of Barclays Bank. The road will be reduced to a single alternative traffic flow controlled by signals. Delays possible.

Brighton Road On Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28th and 29th, 1am-4am at the rail bridge, traffic will be reduced to a single alternative flow controlled by signals for bridge inspection. Balfour Beatty.

Kingston R J Dance. Work is in progress on Richmond Road to improve disabled persons access at bus stops. Phase 2 is off peak between 9.30am and 4pm, resulting in the occasional reduction of traffic to a single alternative flow controlled by signals. Until February 28th.

Scaffolding erected outside McDonalds Restaurant in Eden Street is expected to be removed on Sunday February 2nd. Loweth Contracts Division.

On Thursday February 13th, in Wadbrook Street junction with the High Street, Seeboard will be removing the temporary Charter Quays sub station. Work will be confined to the pavement of the High Street. Pedestrian movement will be maintained. McNicholas. Until February 16th.

Chessington At Chantry Road, Thames Water are moving two sewer pipes into the footpath which runs between Chantry Road and Moor Lane. The footpath will be kept open and diverted across waste lane to the west. Until February 10th.

Area Improvement Scheme. R J Dance (Contractors) Ltd. In York Way, Crayke Hill and Bransby Road, Chessington the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames will be working on an area scheme to improve parking, street lighting and pedestrian facilities. At times during the works Garrison lane will be reduced to a single alternative traffic flow controlled by signals. February 1st-July 2nd.

Maldens and Coombe Cleaning of Coombe Brook Culvert. Between 9.30am and 4.30pm in Coombe Road, New Malden, Drain Brain is cleaning the Coombe Brook Culvert. The road is reduced to a single alternative traffic flow controlled by signals. Until January 31st. Delays possible.

Network Rail is due to close the private subway under New Malden Rail Station on Friday February 7th between 8pm and 7am for gully cleaning. Dyer and Butler.

A major maintenance scheme has commenced in Cambridge Road and Kingston Road between Gloucester Road and the New Malden Roundabout. The scheme includes resurfacing, street lighting replacement, footway resurfacing and the London Bus Initiative work. Until March 31st.

New Malden High Street, Dyer and Butler. Information received from Network Rail is that they will be closing the private subway under New Malden Rail Station on Friday 7th, 8pm-7am for gully cleaning.

Ewell Road, Surbiton (Gabriel Contractors Limited) at the junction with St Marks Hill. At Ewell Road junction with Surbiton Hill Road between 10am and 4pm, Transport for London are installing new cable ducting across Ewell Road, Lamberts Road and Surbiton Hill Road. Temporary Traffic Signals will be operating during the works allowing vehicles to independently leave each road. Until January 24th. Delays possible.

Richmond Park Ham Gate Avenue. Carillon. Royal Parks Authority closed Ham Gate for four weeks on January 6th for repairs and restoration to the gates. Pedestrian access is maintained.
