A cyclist had his £1,600 mountain bike, which he built himself, stolen when he stopped for a drink at a pub in New Malden.
The 22-year-old man left the bike which has a blue frame and a red wheel trim, in a secured yard at the Duke of Wellington pub in Kingston Road between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 22.
Police believe the thief may have climbed over the locked gate into the yard and removed the bicycle, which had not been padlocked.
Anyone with information regarding this crime should telephone PC Keith Mason on 020 8247 4978.
