The first anniversary of a group dedicated to encouraging child development through music was marked by a party last week.
Parents and children involved in the Musical Minis programme were invited to a birthday party at the guide headquarters in Wrights Row, Wallington, last Wednesday.
Established 13 years ago in north London, a local branch of the national group was only set up for the area last year.
It aims to develop a range of abilities such as co-ordination and speech through music, stories, instruments and puppets.
The group's Sarah Cook said: "I am really pleased parents have chosen to give their child's early development such a boost by coming along to our classes."
