TWO hundred and thirty bagpipes skirled and kilts whirled as the Heston & District Scottish Association celebrated the birthday of Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns, at its 42nd Burns Supper, at Kempton Park Racecourse, on Saturday last week.

The haggis was piped in traditional manner; carried by Poosie Nancy', Denise Smith, and addressed with great gusto and much dirk wielding by Peter Mitchell.
