Sutton Council is busting its gut to push through a right turn ban at the junction of Mollison Drive, Plough Lane and Stafford Road, Wallington, before the Greater London Authority (GLA) budgetary deadline passes.
This ban will be detrimental to local residents and will solve only 20 per cent of the problem caused by accidents at this particular junction.
I understand that Andrew Pelling is aware of this issue and he supports a proper evaluation of the problem.
You should look at what Sutton Council wants to do.
It will give you a good laugh, if nothing else.
These people need to spend GLA funds on actually improving things.
When I say improving things I don't mean simply moving the problem 100 yards up a side street.
