CHILDREN and community leaders took part in a service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday evening.
Mayor Vivienne Manheim and Haringey Council Leader George Meehan were joined by MPs Barbara Roche and David Lammy and guests at Bruce Castle Museum in Lordship Lane.
The service was opened by Cllr Meehan and ended in the museum's Garden of Remembrance, where guests and pupils from Bruce Grove, Risley and St Francis Schools, were treated to a performance by the Haringey Youth Choir.
Pupils also planted snowdrop bulbs and a new arch was unveiled which will be an additional feature to the garden.
