I am writing to express my anger at the way in which Chris Kelly and other former directors of Kingstonian FC blocked the new owners, the Khoslas, from finally paying off the debts of the football club.
The fact that Kingstonian FC is only in this current mess due to the previous regime's inadequacies seems to have escaped their notice.
During a time of unprecedented success on the field, losses of some £900,000 were accrued, whilst the PR of the club fell to an embarrassing level.
With the change in ownership, some of those supporters, who vowed never to set foot in Kingsmeadow whilst Kelly was around, finally started to return.
Quite how Kelly and Alan Kingston can now turn around and start making demands of Mr Khosla is beyond me. The new owner has been up front from the start, stating that the football club must pay its own way.
Kim Harris has managed to get a good squad together and there was finally some light at the end of the tunnel with the resolution of the CVA.
Unfortunately Kelly and his mates, not content with almost killing off Kingstonian once, are up to their old tricks again. To them I say: "You had your chance. You made a mess of it. Now leave us alone".
