The eight-year-old killed after a tree fell in a school playground yesterday, has been named as Rianna Davenport.
The girl was crushed after a tree collapsed in high winds at a school in Epsom in Surrey.
Rianna was trapped by the tree and died at the scene around 12.30pm at West Ashtead Primary School.
Another child caught underneath the tree suffered a broken leg, and two other children received minor injures.
A health and safety investigation has been launched into the incident.
The school is closed today to allow pupils and teachers time to come to terms with the accident.
