FAMILIES at a community festival enjoyed global performances from Bhangra to belly dancing.
More than 6,000 people visited Gravesend's Big Day Out this weekend in the Riverside leisure park.
On stage, headlining acts included chart-topping singer Estelle and soul band the Brand New Heavies.
Also performing were several community dance groups, including Samba and Irish dancers.
Youngsters visited the children's marquee for activities including storytelling, circus skills workshops and drumming.
Other attractions included a funfair and a global craft village.
Gravesham Council's lead member for leisure and public space Councillor Lee Croxton said: "I am delighted with the support we have had.
"It was great to see people of all ages enjoying the music and wandering around the community marketplace despite changeable weather."
