POLICE have gone back to school to teach youngsters about their job.
Teams of officers from Greenwich are visiting schools across the borough to tell children about their Stop and Account policy.
The policy, included in the Stephen Lawrence inquiry report, allows police to stop a person in the street and ask them to account for their actions.
Officers visited Thomas Tallis School, Kidbrooke Park Road, Eltham, in the latest stop on their tour.
They spoke to pupils about the policy before handing out free stationery and information cards.
Greenwich Superintendent Carol Grigg said: "It is important people realise this is about ensuring accountability and transparency, not targeting the community and young people."
