THREE new centres providing care for the elderly have been officially unveiled.
The state-of-the-art Neighbourhood Resource Centres will provide residential, nursing and day-care facilities.
They are at Meadows House, Tudway Road, Kidbrooke; Ashgreen House, Sandbach Place, Plumstead, and Time Court, Woodland Terrace, Charlton.
They have been funded thanks to a private finance initiative set up by Greenwich Council.
Member for health and older people Councillor Jagir Sekhon says the centres will provide a "welcoming, happy and homely environment".
She added: "The centres are able to tailor the level of support for each resident, enabling everyone to lead a full, active and independent life."
