CYCLISTS and a wheelchair-bound woman took on 130 miles to raise cash so a charity can celebrate its 130th birthday.
Reverend Peter Clark, of the St Paul's United Reformed Church, Gravesend, his wife Sue and volunteer Guy Morfett cycled 10 circuits of 13 miles for the Ebbsfleet Rainbow Centre.
Last week organiser Anne Jenkins announced the sponsored ride raised £700.
As well as the cyclists, Bob Copping pushed his mother-in-law Ada Walker in her wheelchair around 13 miles raising more than £100.
The money will fund a free community celebration of the centre's 130 years of service in areas such as IT training and toddler groups.
Mr Clark said: "My hands were very sore but the main thing is we made it."
