A PRIMARY school has been celebrating its birthday in style.
Gravel Hill Primary School, Watling Street, Bexleyheath, is 50 years old this year and last week it invited a helicopter to the celebrations.
The crew took an aerial photograph of the children on the school playing field forming the logo GH50.
The school opened on October 4, 1955.
