A MAN needed emergency surgery after being stabbed in the street by an unknown attacker.
The 22-year-old was stabbed in the back and legs as he left a house in Cheviot Close, Bexleyheath, at 12.30am He was rushed to hospital for life-saving surgery and his condition is now improving.
The attack took place on May 21 and police are appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Barry Burke said the man could have died from his injuries.
