WATER could soon be flowing in an African village if one woman's charity efforts are successful.
Wendy Blair, 40, needs volunteers to sell children's toys to help raise £4,000.
The money will be used to sink a borehole and bring water to a remote village in the Changara area of Mozambique.
Around 50 women with HIV and 84 orphans and vulnerable children live there.
Mother-of-two, Mrs Blair, of Beckenham Road, Beckenham, said: "I wanted to help children and water is so vitally important."
She added: "It seems a small amount of money to help so many people."
Mrs Blair also runs a website for children called Parent Pages.
Anyone who is interested in selling the toys, known as Tangles, should call Mrs Blair on 020 8325 2250 for more information.
