CARE DRIVE: Staff at The Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, are aiming to raise awareness of heart disease prevention with an information event on Friday. The cardiac team will be giving out leaflets on healthy eating and stopping smoking in the hospital canteen from noon to 3pm.
SCRAMBLING POLICE: Police on off-road motorbikes are cracking down on motorcycles, cars, quad bikes, scooters and other vehicles being driven illegally in the borough's parks and open spaces. Anyone caught riding illegally twice in a year will have their vehicle seized.
FUN DAY FUNDS: Gray's Farm Primary School is holding a fun day at its site in Gray's Farm Road, Orpington, on June 25 from 1pm to 5pm. Activities including an inflatable four-lane bungee, pony rides and a beer tent will raise cash for IT equipment.
POLICE LISTENER: People in Penge can talk to police community support officer Jess Williamson at a drop-in session between 6.30pm and 8pm on July 23 at the community centre near Penge East train station.
