BE A HERO: Raglan Primary School, Raglan Road, Bromley, is holding its summer fete on June 25, between 1pm and 4pm. This year's theme is heroes and heroines and there will be a fancy dress parade. Entrance for adults is 60p and children get in for 20p. Proceeds will go towards new gym equipment for the school.
KEEP BEES: John Williams of the Kent Bee Keepers Association (Orpington Branch), will be giving a talk on his method of beekeeping at the apiary, High Elms Nature Centre, Shire Lane, Farnborough, on Saturday at 2.30pm. Call 01689 862815 for information.
FAIR PLAY: St Francis Church in Petts Wood, is holding a summer fair in the church hall, Greencourt Road, on Saturday, from 11am to 2pm. There will be craft stalls, coconut shies and a barbecue. All proceeds go towards disabled facilities in the hall.
PARTY ON: St Mildred's Church in Nurstead Court, Meopham, is holding a garden party and dog show on June 25. The event in aid of church funding, will run from 11am to 4pm. Entertainment includes vintage cars, railway rides, craft stalls and live music.
APPLICATION IN: A planning application has been submitted to the council to change Andrew Kingsley estate agents, Masons Hill, Bromley, into a takeaway, opening from 7am to 10pm daily.
