TEENAGERS washed cars to raise money for a charity helping people in Kenya.
The youngsters from Hayes Lane Baptist Church Youth Clubs raised £450 cleaning vehicles in Hayes Lane, Bromley.
The money will go towards sending eight people from the Mission Care charity to Kenya in August and towards the cost of materials for painting a school and building homes.
Bullers Wood School pupil Esther Fortune, 16, took part in the June 4 event and will travel to Africa with the group.
She said: "I'm looking forward to helping the less fortunate with little jobs such as painting and seeing to the animals."
The event, the second of four car washes, raised £450 towards an overall target of £1,000.
The next events will be in Hayes Lane on June 25 and July 23.
