HUNDREDS of schoolchildren will be taking to the stage to perform a choral extravaganza.
More than 600 children from 17 schools are joining the Thameside Schools Music Association to put on its annual choral festival at the Woodville Halls, Gravesend, over three nights.
They will be singing a wide range of pieces with the main score coming from Andrew Lloyd Webber's epic Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Association secretary Christine Hammond said: "Thameside Schools Music Association is open to any school in the area and all its work is done by volunteers.
"It promotes music making among children as part of, and extra to, the curriculum."
