A GRAND fete is to be the centrepiece of this year's Mottingham Festival.
The community festival, which was first held in 1973 and takes place every two years, runs from today until June 29.
Highlights include a children's art competition, flower shows, a cricket match as well as talk on the history of Mottingham.
The grand fete, which takes place at the public playing fields in Grove Park Road, is on June 25.
