PASSSENGERS boarding a ferry on the Thames dug deep to raise more than £800 for the blind at a three-day fundraising event.
Guide Dogs for the Blind took over both sides of the Thames at the site of the Woolwich Ferry and collected money from people getting on board.
Between May 27 and 29, trainee puppies were put through their paces to show the public how their donations would be spent.
Event organiser Deborah Marchese said: "It was a huge success. Standing in the heat wave all day was a challenge but at least it brought a lot of people out."
