A PAIR of gardeners have designed one of the leading exhibits at a world-famous flower show.
Ellen Fenton, 41, and Neil Black, 37, designed the Moat and Castle garden, which was on display at the Chelsea Flower Show.
The Irish-themed garden was based on an ecologically-sustainable design, with wildflowers, apple trees and a natural pond.
The duo recently graduated from the University of Greenwich's Landscape Architecture programme.
The judges from the Royal Horticultural Society were impressed with their design, giving the pair a silver award.
Landscape architecture lecturer Tom Turner says he is "very proud" of the pair and described their garden as "admirable".
