IT WAS fun all the way at the 14th annual Erith Riverside Festival.
Thousands of people flocked to the Riverside Gardens, off Erith High Street, to enjoy stalls and sideshows from groups and charities and a host of other entertainments.
The KTB Academy put on a display of tae kwon do, 109 Royal Engineers provided a marching display and there were performances by the riverside Baton Twirlers, the Europa Gym Club and the Belvedere Male Voice Choir.
People brought their pooches to the dog show and laughed at the wacky races.
There was also a Dog Aid demonstration and the fire brigade staged dramatic lessons on how to deal with a chip pan fire.
Youngsters also exhibited their contributions to the Erith Public Art project, which will see art work created at points around the town.
Chairman of the organising committee Peter Kilner said they had been delighted by the turnout.
He said: "We are already looking at new ideas for next year."
