VOLUNTEERS have raised £29,272 for a charity which helps end cruelty to children.
The Bromley Branch of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children raised the money through various fundraising events last year.
The branch, part of the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection, organised a range of activities including quizzes, concerts and summer tea meetings.
The charity held its annual meeting at the Ripley Arts Centre, Sundridge Avenue, Bromley, on June 9.
A speaker from the charity's specialist investigation service gave a presentation about its work protecting children from sexual abuse. Call 01689 870399 for more information.
