WE WILL never forget. Remembering those who gave so much is as important today as it has ever been. This year we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of VE and VJ days and what better place to remember these heroes than the Biggin Hill Air Fair.
As Spitfires and Hurricanes race overhead the show will evoke poignant memories of those wartime years and offer the perfect opportunity to pay our own personal tributes.
Following the successful VE Day celebration at Norman Park and many other venues in the area, organisers of the air fair, sponsored by News Shopper, are inviting veterans groups to attend the show.
There will be group rates for 10 or more people travelling together and a veteran's garden with seating is being provided by Bromley Council next to its marquee.
This will contain presentations from the Royal British Legion, Bromley Museum and the Biggin Hill Heritage Trust.
To book your tickets for the air fair, which is being held on September 3 and September 4, call 0870 756 3727 or visit the website bigginhillairfair.co.uk
