HARDCORE pornography and other DVDs were seized during a series of raids on illegal street traders.
More than 300 DVDs were taken in ten separate stings in Greenwich and Woolwich town centres over the weekend.
This follows the seizure of around 4,000 DVD's in a similar operation last month.
The operation was carried out by officers from the trading standards and environmental enforcement teams at Greenwich Council, with police back-up.
Member for enforcement Councillor Rajwant Sidhu said: "It is important that we take a stand against pornographic material displayed in public.
"We want to make life as difficult as possible for the people selling it."
