ORGANISERS of the News Shopper sponsored Chislehurst Summer Fair are promising a "bigger and better" event than ever.
The fair on Chislehurst Common on Saturday will include a sports car display, Morris dancing, a May Queen parade and many other activities.
Fair organiser Patrick Raven, of Chislehurst Rotary Club, said: "We are certain this year's fair will be bigger and better than ever.
"We've had support from all the usual stand holders plus some new ones.
"And we will have the return of the famous human fruit machine, which has to be seen to be believed.
We've even attracted a flock of sheep, on loan from the Commons Conservators, for the day."
All profits from the fair, which runs from 10am to 4pm, go to charities supported by Chislehurst Rotary Club. Call 020 8467 6051.
