IN AT THE DEEP END: People are asked to take the plunge in a 24-hour diveathon challenge raising money for Mencap, on June 18 at Sundridge Park Management Centre, Plaistow Lane, Bromley. BEAT IT: Warren Road Primary School, Warren Road, Orpington, is taking part in the Bromley Come and Play project. The school received £250 worth of musical instruments and 10 workshops for schoolchildren. A musician will come to the school each Wednesday to teach pupils.

HELP A HEART: It is national Help a Heart week and the British Heart Foundation is raising awareness about heart disease by giving advice on diet, exercise and quitting smoking. Visit Bromley Hospital, Cromwell Avenue, Bromley, on Friday between noon and 3pm.
