THE paved area of Bexleyheath Broadway was transformed into a piazza for two days as the hugely popular Italian market returned to town.
The smells and tastes of Italy on offer included baskets of breads, dozens of different kinds of olives, cheeses, cold meats, pastas, sauces, olive oils and sweets.
Thousands of Italian treats were on offer to taste and to buy as well as a chance to ask for advice on cooking and serving.
