A SECURITY guard was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher outside a hospital.
The 59-year-old suffered injuries to the back of his head and cuts to his knees during the incident outside the Horn Beam day centre at Darent Valley Hospital on June 3 at around 8.40pm.
A group of youths were playing with a fire extinguisher and when the guard approached, a white boy aged 13 sprayed him in the face causing him to fall.
Police believe the fire extinguisher had been stolen from a red route bus, number 423, travelling between the hospital and Bluewater.
Witnesses should call Dartford Police Station on 01474 283111.
