AN EXHIBITION devoted to one of the most iconic figures of the maritime era is set to open.
The Nelson and Napoleon exhibition will centre on the lives of 19th-century admirals Horatio Nelson and Napoleon Bonaparte.
The event will particularly focus on Nelson, as this year marks the 200th anniversary of his victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
Exhibits will include the uniform Nelson was wearing when he was killed and his original hand-drawn battleplan for Trafalgar.
The exhibition runs from July 7 to November 13, at the National Maritime Museum, Park Row, Greenwich.
Tickets cost £9 for adults and £4 for children. Call 020 8858 4422 or visit the website nmm.ac.uk
