A DARING 62-year-old had the "most exhilarating experience" of her life while raising more than £3,000 for charity.
Ditta Pipe of Bean Road, Bexleyheath, jumped 12,000ft from a plane to raise cash for the Ellenor Children's Hospital at Home.
Mrs Pipe, said: "It was the most exhilarating experience of my life, it was so fast for the first 40 seconds.
The mother-of-two added: "It was such a beautiful day and the view was breathtaking."
The jump at Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent, took place on May 27.
Another £700 raised by Royal Blackheath Golf Club, where Mrs Pipe is lady captain, will be used by the charity to buy a pain-relief machine to help with the treatment of terminally ill children.
