BUSINESSES are excited over investment which could be coming from Russia with love.
Russian delegates have expressed an interest in investing in Dartford after a delegation of council officials visited them in St Petersburg.
Topics of discussion included investment in house-building, education, health, youth issues and the regeneration of the Thames Gateway.
Council leader Councillor Kenneth Leadbeater said: "We sent a senior team to St Petersburg to show the Russians we mean business.
"Dartford has a significant position in the heart of the Thames Gateway regeneration and I'm keen to ensure we are at the forefront for incoming investment.
"Our residents live in an area with enormous potential and the council must encourage this potential to become reality."
