Police are trying to trace the owner of this bag
POLICE are trying to find the victim of a handbag snatch or theft after recovering a bag from a field where it had been abandoned.
The 25 sq cm black imitation leather bag was recovered in a field at Whitehall Lane, Slade Green, on May 21 at about 4pm.
A funfair was operating on the land at the time.
No-one has come forward to either report the bag missing or to report any crime.
