FOSTER children have enjoyed a slice of fun to pay tribute to the work of their carers.
Greenwich Council laid on a special party for foster famillies at a pizza restaurant, to mark National Foster Carer Fortnight.
Thirty children created their own unique pizzas using ingredients of their choice and then got to tuck into their creations at the event.
Cabinet member for children and young people Councillor Jackie Smith said: "I am delighted the kids enjoyed their pizza party.
"Fostering fortnight is a chance to ensure the tremendous contribution of foster carers is recognised and acknowledged."
The party was hosted by Pizza Express, in Greenwich Church Street, which sponsored the fostering fortnight in Greenwich.
