SCHOOLCHILDREN have raised more than £130 by selling their old books, CDs and videos.
Edgebury Primary School's 230 pupils spent their pocket money on brick-a-brac donated by fellow classmates at a bring-and-buy sale in aid of Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
The proceeds of the sale at the school in Belmont Lane, Chislehurst, were given to the hospital's neonatal unit on May 31.
Ward sister Jenni Bell said: "We are so grateful.
"Their generous donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to buy equipment to help sick babies get the best possible start in life."
