A FATHER who went missing from his Catford home has been found safe and well.
Two weeks ago police launched an appeal to track down 44-year-old Simon Prior, who went missing at the start of May.
Police were alerted when Mr Prior failed to arrive at a work meeting on the morning of May 5.
The day before he told a colleague he would be late for the meeting as he was going to see a jeweller to make a payment after withdrawing £2,500 from his bank account.
Police have confirmed he returned home on May 23, but have not commented on his disappearance.
News Shopper carried the story on the front page of its Lewisham and Catford edition.
Fears for Mr Prior's safety had been raised by his partner of seven years and mother of his son, Alison Turner, 39.
